A fundamental working principle of Scripture Union is the leading roles undertaken by a large number of volunteers, supported by small staff teams. Without the dedication of our volunteers we simple would not exist as we do today; camps would not happen, at least one bookshop would not exist, office work would remain undone and a variety of other work would fall by the wayside. To say our volunteers are invaluable is an understatement!

SU have gratefully depended on these valued and dedicated volunteers who have willingly given of their time, energy and commitment through a variety of ways and with differing talents. Volunteering through SU is exciting and rewarding. Many of our volunteers report being challenged in their faith while helping SU either through camps work, serving in a bookshop or praying for the every day business available on our bi-monthly prayer news.
