Scripture Union is delighted to announce the recent appointment of a new Primary Schools Co-ordinator. This is an exciting new development for Scripture Union and we ask for your prayers and support for Grace Deegan. We will keep you updated as this work gathers momentum.

"I'm the 'newest recruit' in Scripture Union! Fresh out of college with a degree in social care it honestly has been a whirlwind summer filled with networking and introductions along with some pleasant paperwork.
I am so excited to see what God has in store for this ministry area as I take each step with confident assurance that He has a purposeful plan for SU in primary schools all over the Republic of Ireland.
The Children's Ministry role is one that will constantly be developing as we begin actively working in primary schools through programmes and retreats while being a present supportive role to teachers and schools as well as parents. Initially we will be working mainly with 6th class students making the difficult transition into 1st year and looking at how we can best support and encourage them leading up to this big change! I see so much potential for SU in primary schools and feel privileged to be a part of it all. So please raise your voices in prayer for what I anticipate is going to be a wild adventure.
